Agile in the real world

Software Development Life Cycle is managed according to the requirements of the project. Agile is one of a number of methodologies to deliver software development projects.

Wherever you go, you will often find a varying flavour of Agile. Whatever the flavour, if it get’s the job done, on time and in budget, then stick with it and work with it. This blog is about our flavour and why it works for us.

We use the Atllassian suite to manage our Agile software development. Whilst it is not perfect, it does provide a reasonable set of tools to manage sprints and automate the software build and release process.

Jira’s

We use Jira’s to quantify pieces of work. Tasks, Bugs and Features. At the beginning of a project we raise high level tasks.

Change Control Board
